Restaurant 99, Percy Street

Located in the heart of Newcastle city centre our client envisioned the use of two vacated commercial buildings to create a modernised restaurant. The existing buildings consist of a betting shop and laudrette with the 1950s aesthetic style of its age.

The restaurant design will be fully inclusive and embody a 1950’s glass and metal cladding system. The proposed cladding will significantly improve the architectural aesthetics of Percy Street whilst retaining the historical presence of the building.

The proposal also includes provision for external seating and lighting and offers the opportunity to bring these commercial units back into use as a post war style unit and offer delights to revellers and diners in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne.
